Conference Objectives:

• Explore strategies to build systems that promote communication, collaboration, and learning between consumers, patients, families, and health care providers.
• Examine evidence-based communication strategies to use in a variety of communities.
• Explore technological advances and resources to improve health care education.
• Discuss techniques to improve the awareness of cultural beliefs, differences, and similarities, in health care education.

Many attendees have asked how they can extend their stay in Arizona. If you want to stay at Tempe Mission Palms past Friday, September 19, the conference rate is in effect for September 20, 21, and 22. However, rooms may not be available. You may call the hotel reservation desk (800 547-8705) and ask to be put on a waiting list. Those on the waiting list will have first priority for rooms that are cancelled for that night. If rooms do not become available, they will help you find another hotel to stay in nearby.
